When I started out in boudoir almost 7 years ago, I was told that clients would never hang pictures of their scantily clad, or heaven forbid, their nude bodies on their walls. Forget framing, forget printing large, I was told. No one would buy it.
Well, 7 years later, I chuckle at all the crazy opinions the more established photographers at the time would freely share about boudoir photography and it’s limitations.
See, some of my clients DO want their images printed and printed large. The pieces we create not only reflect their personalities, and celebrate their figures, but yes indeed, they do serve as art for their walls!
This particular client had an 8-foot piece mounted on metal for her penthouse wall. And then came back for a second smaller piece that would reflect her own feminine space which was all pink, white, crystals, and lucite.
We have just finalized the design for this second piece which will be over 4 ft in length. It will be hand-embellished for a metallic/sparkle effect. And it’s going to look absolutely gorgeous in her space. Can’t wait to share images of the final product once it’s all done! For now here’s a peek at the concept.
Have a wonderful weekend!
