Coming up on 9 years offering boudoir photography services through Long Island’s leading boudoir photography studio Long Island Boudoir Photography, Susan Eckert Photography LLC has launched a sister division–Body & Soul Photography and Studio(R).
Body & Soul marries Susan’s background in organizational psychology with her passion for and experience in photographing food, spaces and portraits of people. A new line of photography offered by Body & Soul–Business Branding–provides business owners with imagery that tell the story of their brand and what distinguishes their products and services in today’s market. Professional headshot sessions, including mini-headshot days, are also a new addition to the Body & Soul website.
Portrait Atelier, a glamourous portrait series where women choose from the studio’s collection of beautiful gowns or bring their own was launched last year, but finds a new home on the Body & Soul website.
Another new line, Teen Couture, provides families with a creative alternative for capturing their teen’s transition to young adulthood. Teen Couture tells a story of transition and enables young individuals to express a childhood fascination with mythical or fairytale elements with the sophistication and fashion-sense they are likely developing as young adults.
Susan’s Modern Portraits translate her love of modern upscale high-society magazine portraits into a style all her own. Appropriate for men and/or women, these portraits are intended to be timeless heirlooms and works of art that can be proudly displayed in the home.
Lastly, although Susan has been shooting creative and conceptual imagery for her own portfolio for over 10 years, the launch of Body & Soul marks the first time she has offered creative fine art/conceptual shoots for the everyday woman. “If you’ve ever dreamed of becoming an artist’s muse,” Susan says, “this is your opportunity to incorporate your personality and beauty into an original work of art ready to hang in your home.” Clients who choose Fine Art Commissioned photographic works will receive an in-home consultation by Susan Eckert ensuring that artwork materials, mediums, and sizes are optimal for the client’s particular space. “No idea is too abstract or impossible! Challenge me,” invites Susan.
Much more is to come. In the near future, Susan hopes to expand on the “studio” component of her Body & Soul by offering photography workshops, classes and other educational events. Be sure to subscribe for news and announcements to stay informed and find out about these!
